About the game
BattleBit Remastered is a low-poly FPS mutliplayer shooter game heavily inspired by the Battlefield game series. Loosely set during a fictional conflict between the USA and Russia, game allows up to 254 players at the same time on huge, near-fully destructible maps. The game features various classes, weapons, vehicles and customization options. Proximity-based voice chat for both friendlies and enemies builds atmosphere and improves immersion.
Build using Unity game engine and published exclusively for Windows through the Steam in early access on June 15, 2023 BattleBit sold almost 2 million copies within first two weeks of the release and was well received by both players and critics. The game was praised for its destruction system, huge player count, satisfying gameplay and optimization along with low requirements.
Why "Remastered"?
According to the authors, the current game is the 5th iteration. It has been re-written three times and its core two times.Authors
